My first Eurostar Premier journey took me from Brussels to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, where I connected to a KLM flight to Los Angeles. The train itself felt older than I expected, but the quiet carriage and productive journey made it a pleasant alternative to flying.
The cabin description was confusing. My ticket indicated business class, while KLM’s Air&Rail information referred to a “premium” experience for those connecting in business class. Eurostar’s actual classes are Standard, Plus, and Premier. At check-in, the agent confirmed I was booked into Premier.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
