Results announced Oct. 1 showed 67.62% approval among professional employees and 53.48% among technical employees. The first group’s tally was 7,895 in favor and 3,780 opposed; the technical unit recorded 2,061 yes votes and 1,793 no votes. The raise took effect Oct. 2, with another 4% scheduled for March 2027. Wage pools are planned for 2028, 2029 and 2030.
Each annual pool is worth 6%, with a guaranteed minimum increase of 4%, while SPEEA estimated average compounded gains of 36.3% and a guaranteed floor of 28.7%. The contract also changes work-from-home language, adds professional-unit overtime limits, increases incentive-plan value and boosts 401(k) contributions for younger workers. Boeing had warned a strike would stop 777X certification; regulatory review of the 737 MAX 10 remains unresolved.
