There is more craziness coming from Cathay Pacific beyond the ban on using one frequent flier program for benefits and another for where the miles should go (read more here), which started the other week.
Now, the airline is banning even ADDING a frequent flier number to a reservation on its website or through the contact center. You can now do it only at the airport, per an email that a reader received from Cathay Pacific.
