The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse London Heathrow (LHR) is excellent, and I rank it as one of the best business class lounges in the world. However, the lounge definitely wasn’t feeling cutting edge anymore as of late, so there’s some positive news.

First, the lounge’s gallery has been reimagined, intended to further highlight the panoramic runway views from this part of the lounge. This updated space is described as being inspired by the character of London, with the space featuring subtle references to the city’s transport heritage, alongside signature Virgin Atlantic touches.

The lounge also has two new work pods, the first time the lounge has had truly private workspaces. These are styled as a tribute to Virgin Records, and the pods are named “The Townhouse” and “The Manor,” with each space having studio-inspired artwork, integrated power, and a desk.

This private space also has a “Cabinet of Curiosities,” described as “a bespoke table built for discovery, surprise and delight,” offering everything “from indulgent sweet treats to celebratory champagne moments.”

Lastly, the lounge has two wellness pop-ups. Through May 31, 2026, you’ll find three Somadomes, described as the world’s first immersive wellness domes. The self-guided light therapy and meditation domes are intended to deliver calm, focus, and metal reset, in just 20 minutes.
