UPDATE: Hilton Reykjavik Nordica (Iceland) Exits Hilton Affiliation On September 1, 2026 – Stays Afterall?

We reported earlier this week that the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica hotel in Iceland was exiting the Hilton system on September 1, 2026, based on the information Hilton has sent out to members who have booked past that date, and also based on the fact that the hotel is not available for bookings on the Hilton website past late August.

Another reader noted a notice on Islandshotels’ website stating that the hotel would remain affiliated with the chain from September 1 under Hilton Reykjavík. If this is the case, why would Hilton be canceling reservations?

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on LoyaltyLobby.
