Less than a week ago, United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby vowed to "draw a line in the sand" against American Airlines. American is United's top competitor at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (ORD), and it has been rapidly adding flights at the Midwest hub since last summer.
The very next day, American added three more routes from the Windy City.
And United isn't standing by.
