Occupying a historic canal house on Prinsengracht in Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed Canal District, the boutique 24 bedroom property will bring The Zetter’s distinctive, characterful approach to one of the city’s most recognisable neighbourhoods.
Waterworth’s approach brings together the historic fabric of the building with The Zetter’s signature sense of lived-in luxury. Aged brass, reclaimed timber, antique mirrors and rich textiles are layered throughout the property, creating interiors that feel collected, bespoke and intentional.
Against 24 boutique guestrooms, two public spaces will anchor the hotel. The Garden Room will offer a botanical, conservatory-style setting for breakfast, overlooking the hotel’s private garden. Alongside it, The Library will offer a more intimate setting for drinks and small bites, with book-lined walls, deep rust and burnt-terracotta tones, aged brass detailing and reclaimed oak.
