The Thai aviation authorities and Airports of Thailand have announced a significant increase in the airport facility tax from 730 baht to 1,120 baht for departing passengers, effective early 2026.
Thailand’s airport departure tax hasn’t been changed in roughly 20 years and used to be payable in cash at the airport until that was changed in 2007 when airlines incorporated it into the ticket price.
