There has been quite a bit of craziness coming from Thailand’s cabinet lately regarding immigration and tourism policies and which nationalities they wish to attract.
It wasn’t long ago when Thailand decided to pivot to incoming travelers from India, especially in Phuket, when visitor numbers from China were lacking. The incoming tourism numbers this year are soft, actually down year-on-year.
