Singapore Airlines passengers spent nearly nine hours on a flight from San Francisco…only to land back in San Francisco after a disruptive passenger prompted the crew to turn around. Then they still had the flight to Singapore ahead of them.
Reports circulating on Reddit describe screaming, kicking seats, and an attempt to reach an emergency exit. Those accounts have not been independently verified, and Singapore Airlines has not confirmed those details. The airline has also not publicly explained what prompted the behavior.
