Riverside Luxury Cruises is expanding its fleet with the addition of Riverside Mahler which will make its debut in May 2028, as the luxury river cruise line opens reservations for its 2028 season.
For those who fancy the sound of exploring Europe in grand style a la the Titanic (without the sinking), the new ship – which will be identical to sister vessels Riverside Debussy and Riverside Ravel – will sail the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, taking guests through destinations in Germany, Austria and Hungary as well as Amsterdam and Basel.
Its arrival will allow Riverside to significantly increase the number of sailings through the Main-Danube Canal, which connects the Rhine and Danube rivers, from just four departures in 2026 to 12 in 2028.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Luxury Travel Advisor.
