Qatar Airways’ Al Mourjan Business Lounge known as “The Garden” in Doha (DOH) is a beautiful place to spend a long layover, with extensive seating, good food, quiet rooms, and even a gym. I spent much of an eight-hour overnight connection here and enjoyed the lounge…though the service at dinner left something to be desired.
After my walk through The Orchard, the indoor tropical garden in the northern expansion of Hamad International Airport, I headed upstairs to the Al Mourjan Business Lounge, known as “The Garden.”
I have long enjoyed the original Al Mourjan Business Lounge, particularly its restaurant. This newer lounge, which opened in April 2023, offers a different setting and several useful additions. The lounge is massive. And spacious. And a very pleasant place to spend a long layover.
