Seven years after my first flight in Emirates’ fully enclosed Boeing 777 first class suite, I returned to the same route and same flight, EK183, from Dubai to Brussels. The “Game Changer” suite remains extraordinary, but this flight demonstrated that even a superb seat cannot compensate for disappointing service, though perhaps my exceptions were too high? My latest review follows, with the original 2019 review preserved below for comparison.
However, with so many first class passengers, there is not the sort of personalized ground service you might experience with Air France or Lufthansa. After checking in, I was on my own to get through security, passport control, and to the lounge.
I visited both the Concourse A and Concourse B Emirates First Class lounges before my flight.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
