To close out my time in Delhi, I stayed at the Andaz in Aerocity, the hotel and business district near Indira Gandhi International Airport. This was a very comfortable Hyatt hotel and made it easy to catch to my flight the following afternoon.
The neighborhood offers dining options beyond the hotel, including those around Worldmark. Delhi Aerocity station provides access to the Airport Express metro line, though Uber is cheap and easy.
For a stay built around flights, the location could not be more convenient. For sightseeing, you need to account for the journey into the city and Delhi’s traffic…thus, I would not recommend it as your base while in Delhi. Aerocity has plenty of places to eat, but exploring it is a different experience from walking through Delhi’s older neighborhoods.
