Minor Hotels Ups The Ante in Milan

“Milan? Si, si, si!” So says Minor Hotels as it continues its push into Europe’s luxury market with the opening of Tivoli President Milano, a reimagined five-star property in the heart of the Italian capital of fashion, Milan.

Located in Largo Augusto, just a five-minute walk from the Duomo and on the edge of the Quadrilatero della Moda, the hotel leans heavily into location, and rightly so. Positioned between Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, it drops guests straight into Milan’s luxury ecosystem, with landmarks like the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Teatro alla Scala within easy reach.

The 239-room property — including 60 suites, six of which look directly onto the Duomo — is a full repositioning of the former NH Collection Milano President. Now under the Tivoli Hotels & Resorts flag, the hotel has been given a top-to-bottom refresh, with interiors led by Rodrigo Izquierdo that balance contemporary design with the building’s rationalist architectural bones.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Luxury Travel Advisor.
