TSA is expanding priority security access for military personnel and veterans at dozens of airports. As someone who served in the United States Air Force, I appreciate the gesture but oppose the principle behind it.
According to the TSA, eligible travelers can present a valid military or veteran identification card to use dedicated lanes at participating airports. Where a dedicated lane is unavailable, certain airports offer front-of-line access instead. Immediate family members traveling with an eligible person may also receive priority.
