After stepping out of the sauna, I saw that it was 7:00 pm and the restaurant where I wanted to have dinner was 36 minutes away by foot and the kitchen closed in 30 minutes. Rather than take a taxi, I had a comical run through Nuuk and encountered an unexpected MOUNTAIN on my way to dinner.
I walked through the new part of town, then the old part of town I had enjoyed a midnight walk through the night before. I headed up a hill toward the restaurant. So far, so good, and I was moving at such a pace that I was making up time.
