The Bombardier CRJ-200 has never been loved. In fact, among frequent flyers it earned one of aviation’s less flattering nicknames: the “Devil’s Chariot.” I recently flew one from Palm Springs to San Francisco and was reminded why.
The cabin is arranged 2-2, the windows sit unusually low, the overhead bins are tiny, and the lavatory in the back is so small that even by regional jet standards it feels punitive.
There is also none of the technology we increasingly take for granted.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
