A Delta Air Lines passenger says he was asked to give up his seat so a couple could sit together, declined after seeing the replacement, and was eventually removed from the flight after recording the dispute. Delta says he failed to follow crew instructions. I understand that passengers cannot simply ignore flight attendants, but I also understand wanting a record when a request to switch seats turns into something more.
According to his account, covered by Colombian media, crew asked him to change seats so a woman could sit beside her husband. He initially agreed, but changed his mind after seeing the alternative, which he described as smaller and less comfortable.
The encounter then escalated.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
