The A350-1000 configuration will contain 53 suites divided between two cabins and is expected to enter service in June 2027 on high-business-class-demand routes between major hubs. Delta's seat uses a reverse-herringbone layout, sliding privacy doors and a lie-flat bed measuring 79 inches. The airline says the seat can provide up to 44 inches of pitch and includes a 24-inch 4K screen.
Dining changes include a new wagyu cheeseburger, mushroom risotto and roasted sea bass, alongside dairy-free sorbet as part of the sundae service, with optional Champagne Taittinger. Customers may preorder meals up to 18 hours before departure, compared with the previous 24-hour cutoff; Delta hopes eventually to reduce that window to six hours. Blanton's bourbon is slated for Delta One starting Dec. 1, and Tokyo-Haneda flights will add Dassai sake.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on InsideFlyer.
