Delta Air Lines is cutting four more domestic routes this fall, including another one from New York JFK. On its own, that is a modest schedule adjustment. But taken together with several other JFK cuts over the last year, including Geneva and Brussels, a clearer pattern is emerging: Delta is becoming much more selective about what belongs at JFK, even as Frontier Airlines prepares to abandon the airport altogether.
That means at least four domestic JFK routes are disappearing from Delta’s schedule in 2026:
Delta ended JFK-Brussels service in January 2026 after 34 years on the route, consolidating Brussels service over Atlanta instead. It also scrapped its planned 2026 return to Geneva, making October 2025 the final operation of JFK-GVA. Delta also canceled JFK-London Gatwick for 2026, while a planned seasonal return of JFK-Munich had already been dropped previously.
