British Airways made significant changes to its frequent flier (or frequent cash spender) program on April 1st this year, by moving to a revenue-based tier qualification with barely any notice.
The Club (yes – the Executive Club was renamed) offered an olive branch in the form of Extra Tier Points for those who registered for the offer. The bonus Extra Tier Points feature is now a permanent part of the program (until they remove it).
