Awful: Frontier Airlines A321neo Hits Person On Runway At Denver Airport

A horrific accident happened last night while a Frontier jet was attempting to take off, and I can only imagine how unpleasant this must’ve been for everyone involved.

The aircraft pushed back from the gate and taxied out to runway 17L, where it began its takeoff roll at around 11:20PM. From there, we’ll let the air traffic control communication speak for itself:

One wonders where the person who got hit came from. If this was someone who just escaped from the terminal and was running across the airfield, you’d think that operations would’ve been suspended, and a search would’ve been conducted. The fact that this person didn’t seem to be spotted prior to the incident suggests to me that they might’ve been a bit sneakier.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on One Mile at a Time.
