After years of transforming itself into a low-cost carrier, Avianca is finally moving back in a premium direction with new business class suites and a substantially upgraded soft product for its Boeing 787 fleet.
Avianca has not identified the seat manufacturer, but the renderings appear to show the Collins Aerospace Elements platform, a highly regarded reverse-herringbone product also found on carriers including Starlux Airlines and Etihad Airways.
The new suites will initially appear on flights to Europe and New York.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
