I can’t help but to join the “cAAt” fight over American Airlines between two of my favorite bloggers, so here is my unsolicited two cents on the latest brouhaha stemming from comments from the leader of the pilot’s union.
Gary from View From The Wing argues that the latest statement is geared toward the looming negotiations for a new contract:
…Is it so radical to think that there might be someone better suited for the job of CEO than Isom? And is it so unreasonable for the head a union to (surprisingly gently) pose that question? It’s almost as if Isom is part of some royal family, and he is entitled to that job unless the airline literally liquidates.
