Air Canada will temporarily close its Signature Suite in Toronto later this month as it expands one of North America’s finest business class lounges. Eligible passengers will receive alternative lounge access, a temporary grab-and-go option, and a rather generous future guest pass. It’s a very clever way to deal with a lounge closure.
Air Canada tells Live And Let’s Fly that the lounge is expected to reopen in December, although the entire expanded space will not be completed until early 2027.
The temporary closure will deprive eligible international business class passengers of one of Air Canada’s best ground experiences during the busy autumn travel season, but the airline has arranged several alternatives and will offer affected travelers a valuable consolation prize.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
