Following their $2 Billion merger, Asiana and Korean Air are finally on track to finalize the last stretch and the Asiana brand will be a thing of the past after December 17, 2026.

This means that Asiana aircraft and staff will be integrated into Korean Air and get a new corporate identity while obviously dropping out of Star Alliance, which is going to affect frequent flyer members of both partner programs and Asiana Club.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on LoyaltyLobby.
