UPDATE: As I expected, Lyft has settled with a morbidly obese rapper in a confidential settlement agreement after one of its drivers refused to transport 500+ pound Dajua Blanding, known as Dank Demoss.

Under Michigan law, weight is a protected class like race and religion. That made it very clear from the outset that the rotund social media personality would prevail, even though I found the driver’s concerns eminently reasonable.
