WestJet started an “organized take-down” of its network on Friday and has so far canceled 309 flights scheduled for Friday and Saturday (July 31 – August 1, 2026).

The flight attendant strike is scheduled to begin in less than 20 minutes unless the parties reach an agreement or the government intervenes and forces the flight attendants to work (they can always call in sick).

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on LoyaltyLobby.
