When getting getting government security clearances one needs to go back seven years listing every country visited and why for the SF-86. It’ll be a lot more difficult to do so without the stamps (which the OPM (now the DCSA) used to suggest using to jog memories). I had an interview lasting >five hours, which included explaining those entries. Back in the day, billing by the hour made that initial interview a hundred years ago…
Note that one has to include everything and every trip, from business visits and tourism visits to entering Germany to use the LH FCT.
Now that I’m super old – dying, really – I wouldn’t have nearly the patience for it ab initio; it’s much more bearable updating previous forms for security extensions.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on One Mile at a Time.
