Thailand has been planning to revert the length of visa-free entry to the Kingdom back to 30 days from the current 60, introduced just two years ago in 2024 to attract more tourists who stay longer.
They have also planned to curtail so-called “visa-runs,” which have usually involved a bus ride to the Cambodian border, a brief visit to Cambodia, and then back to Thailand with a new visit stamp.
