SWISS is getting creative as Zurich Airport prepares for a years-long reconstruction of Dock A, opening an entirely new lounge building near Dock B in early 2027. It will house separate Business and Senator Lounges, offer more space than the current facilities, and eventually be joined by a relocated First Class Lounge.

Rather than a simple refurbishment, SWISS is moving its Schengen lounge operation into a newly constructed building on the southern side of Dock B while Zurich Airport begins the long process of replacing Dock A. The two lounges will occupy an entire floor each and together cover about 2,600 square meters, roughly 20% more space than the current facilities.
