Star Alliance has now confirmed what we have already known for more than a month (read more here), the date when Asiana Airlines is headed for an alliance exit.
Korean Air acquired Asiana years ago, and the integration will be complete on December 17, 2026. As a result, Asiana’s official exit takes place on December 16, but the last day to collect miles is already October 15.
