Raffles Hotels & Resorts is heading to the mountains.
The Accor luxury brand has announced plans for its first-ever alpine resort, set within the Jardin Alpin precinct of Courchevel 1850, with an opening targeted for the 2028 winter season. The property is being developed in collaboration with Art de Vivre.
Raffles Courchevel will occupy a prime position in what the brand describes as the most elevated and coveted enclave of Courchevel 1850, with panoramic views across the Tarentaise Valley. Architecture is by JMV, with interiors by Humbert & Poyet. The resort’s 50 guest rooms and suites will feature generously proportioned layouts, with many offering furnished private balconies overlooking the surrounding peaks.
The food-and-beverage program will include a signature bar, an elegant tea lounge, and two destination restaurants with winter gardens and expansive terraces. A spa and recovery facility will blend traditional alpine wellness with what the brand describes as precision therapies rooted in longevity science, alongside treatment rooms, thermal experiences, a fitness center, and a panoramic swimming pool. A dedicated programming offering for younger guests centered on nature, sport, and wellbeing rounds out the amenity set.
