Italy’s air transport sector will be in complete chaos on Sunday (July 5, 2026) due to strikes by several employee groups for the entire day, although all flights scheduled to operate between 7 AM and 10 AM and 6 PM – 9 PM are protected, as are most long-haul flights and select flights to/from the islands.

ENAC staff at Milan, ground handling staff at most, if not all, the companies, and easyJet cabin crew are striking for the entire day, and there are strikes by other employee groups as well, but not for the entire Sunday.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on LoyaltyLobby.
