Marriott International has signed an agreement with Luxurious Resort (Fiji) Pte Limited to debut The Ritz-Carlton brand in Fiji. Slated to open in 2030, The Ritz-Carlton Fiji, Namuka Bay will expand the company’s luxury footprint in the South Pacific, marking a milestone for both the brand and the destination.

The new-build 249-key resort will be set on nearly 70 acres of beachfront along Fiji’s Coral Coast, just over an hour’s drive from Nadi International Airport. Designed to reflect Fijian culture and heritage, the property will offer 166 guestrooms and suites, most with ocean views, along with 83 villas featuring private plunge pools and decks. A 5,166-square-foot Presidential Villa is expected to showcase a 2002-square-foot private pool, expansive balcony and yoga lounge. Plans also call for seven dining venues, from fine dining to casual beachfront concepts.
