Kimpton to Debut Desert Resort in Scottsdale’s Paradise Valley

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is expanding its luxury footprint in the American Southwest with plans for a new resort in one of Arizona’s most coveted enclaves. The Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas, opening in early 2026, will mark the brand’s first luxury and lifestyle property in the Paradise Valley and Scottsdale market and a fresh take on desert hospitality.

Set on 42 acres framed by Camelback and Mummy Mountains, the resort will reimagine an existing property into a design-forward retreat that embraces the desert’s serene beauty. The 400-room resort—featuring guest rooms, suites, and villas—will include more than 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, balancing business with leisure in quintessential Kimpton style.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Luxury Travel Advisor.
