G Adventures & National Geographic Announce New Trip Collection

With over 10 years of exploration together, G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have announced their new venture together into the high-end travel market with the introduction of “National Geographic Signature with G Adventures.” Launching with 29 trips, in destinations including South Africa, Vietnam, Japan, Central Asia, Peru and Jordan, and inspired by National Geographic’s legacy of education, science and exploration, these trips will feature world-leading experts, “Signature Moments,” offering behind-the-scenes access to museums, historic sites or dining in extraordinary settings, and cultural immersion—all while providing elevated accommodations and service. Bookings will officially launch in January 2026 with first departures slated for January 2027.

The new Signature trips emphasize purpose, strengthening communities and giving back, representing a shift beyond a traditional luxury travel experience, supported by G Adventures’ 35 years of expertise as a pioneer of community tourism. Travelers seeking more than traditional “luxury” will now have the opportunity to experience destinations through a National Geographic lens and immersive approach to exploration, with a greater focus on socially conscious experiences that benefit local communities. While many high-end travel experiences focus solely on comfort and exclusivity, these adventures are designed to create meaningful, lasting benefits for local communities, from supporting local artisans and experts to selecting high-end locally owned accommodations wherever possible.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Luxury Travel Advisor.
