Airlines at several European airports have apparently resorted to using manual (handwritten) paper passes and luggage tags after Collins Aerospace’s Muse software was hacked or its operations were disrupted on late Friday.
The software is used by airlines to share check-in desks and gates, a widespread practice in Europe due to the shared use of these facilities.
