I’m not a soccer football fan and have not been following the World Cup closely this year, but I know how important it is to many of you and apparently was extremely important to a handful of hooligans in business class on my Qatar Airways flight from Los Angeles to Doha.
All of a sudden the quiet cabin was interrupted with a shrill and loud, “FU*K THIS! FFFFFFUUUUU*******KKKKK THIS!” Not just once, but several times over the next 90 seconds.
There were other hoots and howls that you would expect at a watch party and this noise was extremely loud, despite my wearing noise-cancelling headphones.
