As we previously reported, Asiana Airlines is in the process of integrating into Korean Air following the merger, and that will mean Star Alliance benefits will soon come to an end in mid-December.
Asiana has now announced that they will officially depart from Star Alliance effective December 16, 2026 at 23:59 KST after which Star Alliance mileage accrual, mileage ticket redemptions, and Elite benefits for Asiana Club members – including already issued Star Alliance tickets – will be voided.
