After a lengthy investigation, the Royal Thai Police has arrested a French national in Bangkok after he was identified as the prime suspect in a series of theft incidents that occurred at Don Mueang Airport.
Police analyzed mountains of CCTV data showing the individual traveling to/from the airport via public transport and then seeking out unattended or poorly watched belongings of travelers which he then stole.
We all have heard the constant announcements at airports, train stations, and on public transport to watch our belongings closely, and this is exactly the reason why: Thieves (either individual or organized crime groups) take every opportunity to swipe your property.
