Amex’s public benefit terms say the two-night minimum applies to Fine Hotels and Resorts bookings using the $600 Lodging Credit, with up to $300 available from January through June and another $300 from July through December. The Hotel Collection already has a two-night minimum. The new restriction affects the statement credit only, not Fine Hotels and Resorts breakfast, property credit or guaranteed 4 p.m. checkout benefits.
Eligible prepaid Airbnb Luxe bookings made through Amex Travel also require at least two nights. After a qualifying reservation is confirmed, personal and Business Platinum cardholders can receive up to $250 in Airbnb Experiences statement credits per calendar year, redeemable directly with Airbnb through year-end. If the Luxe reservation is canceled, Amex may reverse the Experiences credits.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on InsideFlyer.
