The American Airlines business-class experience is about to get much cozier: The Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier will begin providing pajamas to business-class passengers.
Starting in August, unisex pajamas will be available on all American Airlines wide-body flights departing from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). These flights will be heading for far-flung destinations across East Asia, India, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, so business-class passengers are sure to appreciate the added bit of comfort on their long journeys.
The pajama sets, which come with shirts and joggerlike pants, are designed in partnership with eco-friendly Nest Bedding, a bed and sleep accessory brand that focuses on creating sustainable products. To ensure maximal comfort, flyers can choose between a small/medium size and a large/extra-large size for their pair of pajamas. Later this summer, the airline will also reintroduce mattress toppers to make the onboard experience that much more comfortable.
