Alaska Airlines made changes to its frequent flyer program earnings on partner airlines earlier this year, which effectively decimated them.
Alaska previously offered a nice bonus for premium cabins that could be combined with the elite-tier bonus as well. They currently require you to book partner flights on Alaska’s website to have the full earnings, while earnings for flights booked directly with partners have been cut in half.
