Designworks, a BMW Group company, designed the seat, which RECARO Aircraft Seating will build. Each aircraft uses a 1-2-1 arrangement with direct aisle access. The bed is listed at 79 inches long and up to 24 inches wide; A350 seats are 22 inches wide, while the 777-9 version is 24 inches wide. The A350 receives a 22-inch 4K OLED screen, versus a 20-inch 4K display on the 777-9.
Sliding doors are fitted at every seat, and electronic dividers between selected center seats can be lowered to make companion beds. Singapore Airlines is also adding a memory-foam padded sheet for extra cushioning or seated lumbar support. Seat controls adjust lumbar support and the leg rest, while myKrisWorld can save preferred seat positions. Separately, Starlink installation on A350 long-haul and ULR aircraft is scheduled to begin in early 2027.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on InsideFlyer.
