As flagged by One Mile At A Time, Air Serbia flight JU134 departed Belgrade for Moscow on November 3, 2026, but turned back over southern Lithuania. According to Serbian media, the Airbus A320 left at 6:48 PM and returned shortly before 10:00 PM. Passengers spent more than three hours flying only to end up where they started.
Air Serbia confirmed that airport authorities requested additional security checks concerning one passenger. The airline said it returned in accordance with the instructions it received, but did not publicly identify that passenger.
Those allegations are disputed.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
