Singapore Airlines is making a rare change to its iconic flight attendant uniform, but the sarong kebaya is staying. Instead, the airline is retiring the familiar sandals…a small change in appearance that could make a big difference for the women wearing them.
According to CNA Lifestyle, which spoke directly with the airline and footwear designer Pazzion, the shoes took 31 months to develop, yes nearly three years…
But these are shoes that employees will wear for hours while standing, walking, and working onboard. I suppose that getting them right is more important than rushing out something that merely looks attractive in a photograph but won’t work in practice.
A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Live and Let's Fly.
