The Hyatt Centric Janakpuri New Delhi represented excellent value and was a pleasant full-service hotel to begin my stay in the Indian capital.
I took the Metro from DEL Airport to the hotel (details here), and arrived at 10:30 am, hoping but also not excepting that my room would be ready. The hotel census was low, however, and not only was my room ready but I was upgraded to what was called an “Executive Suite,” though as you’ll see below I think a separate living room and bedroom are really necessary to label something a suite.
The bathroom included a separate tub and shower, and the shower products were in individual bottles rather than bulk dispensers…something I have not seen in quite a long time at a Hyatt.
