Alcohol is not cheap in Greenland, as I was reminded by a perfectly fine but very expensive Moscow Mule in Nuuk.
The bar offers sweeping views over Nuuk and the surrounding fjord, though at that hour I also found a familiar sight inside: several passengers from my United flight. Apparently, I was not the only one who had arrived in Greenland and found there were few choices for food at 9:00 pm.
Then came the bill: about $25.
